Mention Me is a referral marketing technology provider that harnesses customer advocacy and powers referral marketing campaigns for businesses. After raising an additional £25 million in investment, they required a bold new brand that reflected its new and ambitious vision and growth strategy.
Challenge
The brand evolution needed to be sympathetic and true to the company’s origins and DNA. It needed to be easily recognisable among existing customers but at the same time, feel more grown-up, bolder, and more energetic than before.
Solution
There were many moving parts to our solution. We simplified the identity by removing unnecessary distractions in the logo; the name was the focus. We ramped up the colour with a simplified logo and created a bold new colour palette, amplifying their communications’ confidence and energy. Bolder and unapologetic, it stands strong in the digital world.
We introduced a pink wire to create consistency and brand salience across all communications. Taken from the ‘Me’, the evolution of the pink wire creates a continuation and connectedness, just like the services Mention Me supplies to their end customers. The wire can be used as a continuous line illustration, helping to develop a unique illustrative style. The new photography and image style celebrates the word-of-mouth nature of referral marketing in everyday life.
